Gaming is there any way?

my friend bought a PSP the other day and accidentaly updated to 6.30 so now he can't hack his PSP. i was wondering if there is any way he can downgrade to 5.5 or 5.3 or whatever that hackable firmware is so he can get free PSP games. thank you if you help otherwise

There are no news that someone is working on a new exploit and/or an enabler for it, just getting old PSPs to run the newer games.

Your fix is broken....you forgot to add the word "early". Although it's somewhat unlikely that there ever will be a hack if the fabled successor turns out to be more than a rumour.

The point is that a PSP 3000 on 6.20 can have limited emulation functionality via Half Byte Loader (no ISO's though) whilst on 6.30 you get nothing.
