I actually used Spider quite often and I'm kinda sad that I'd have to kill my installed themehax to start using it again.

Nope. Browsers take a massive amount of work to make, even if you were to use a pre-existing implementation.
It's definitely possible, but don't expect any usable browsers that come close to the already crappy 3DS browsers.
There are apps like YouTube which you can probably hijack to use as a web browser, however.
