I am not recommending this, just answering a question. PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS. YOU ARE AN ASSHOLE IF YOU DO!!!!

Well I hate to support an idea like this but I will tell you how this is capable. The only way to truely and forever prevent someone is if you brick their wii.

Basically. If bootmii is in boot2, then uninstall it, then from bootmii ios run comex's nand formatter without any files in the wad folder.

That will create a perma brick unless they have a nand backup or a vulnerable boot1 and easy access to someone with a nand programmer.

If the kid paid you to softmod his Wii, you have no right to abuse that, regardless of your beliefs. If he didnt pay you, then you are the fool for soft modding it for him in the first place, if those really are your beliefs, and personally I dont think you have any right to judge how another uses/abuses their own equipment.

Thats my 2 cents.

not going to brick his Wii. I just want to reverse all the crap that I did.

btw would CIOS uninstaller work?

This is funny!! lol

I would just update 2 SM 4.3 then leave it that'll 'clean ur hands' 2x over then leave the rest up 2 ur friend!! lol

Just download an early version of the Cios Installer that did not supprt USB loaders. I think Cios5 was mentioned in this thread.

Luckly the person isn't very knowledgeable since I was the person who upgraded it(for backing up his games, but now he's gone overboard and started pirating like mental).

awesome, which means after u try to kill his usb loading, he will be here making new threads and begging for help. Thanks man!

or at least prevent it? there's a particular wii owner that I know(being the anti piracy person that I am), I don't want them to pirate games off the internet, so I'm trying to find away to prevent them.
any IOS that I should uninstall or anything?
I'm planning on using DOPmii(I think thats the name) to remove the trucha bug on IOS70(to disable a few wiiware games), but I thats all i know interms of downloading or weakening the programing.
Luckly the person isn't very knowledgeable since I was the person who upgraded it(for backing up his games, but now he's gone overboard and started pirating like mental).

if that doesn't work could someone suggest the earliest revision of CIOS or IOS, so that I can weaken the compatibility a bit.

EDIT #1:
by disable usbloading, what I mean is that the USB is automaticly disconnected when a certain usbloader is plugged in or when the system is currently at IOS249

Dude, that is not your Wii anymore. That Wii belongs to your friend now, not yours. To be wordy, you no longer have legal bearing on that Wii. So why are you modding other people's Wii? Just because you hate piracy doesn't mean you can enforce your idea on someone else. You could have just walk away from him you know. Don't just go there and do things he never asked for.

Obviously you aren't going to tell him what you are doing, right? This "friend" of yours isn't gonna give you his consent otherwise

I'd say that if you pull this off you commit hypocrisy. I think you should just tell him how disappointed you are in him and don't get involved with him anymore, lying to get revenge for a lie doesn't make you any better than this guy

This is like pouring sugar in your friend's gas tank because he's speeding and you only want him to drive the speed limit.

I believe this is a thread about removing USB loading from a console, not about morals. Sure, the friend should be allowed to do what he wants (Hey, he's helping against piracy, right on!), but that's not the point of this topic, is it?

To be honest, I don't know what you would do, but how about everyone stop bitching and leave the guy alone unless you can help him, mmkay? Jeez, typical GBAtemp...

ok then to my post. no not possible to lock out a specific discloader or usbloader. the only main way is to keep the wii virgin w/o bootmii and with the HBC alone. thats it. sure piracy is a bad thing but keep something into mind also is it really worth looseing a friend? on top of that if you are getting paid for your services and knowledge (not software) then let em do as he wishes.

Do you feel bad about modifying his Wii in the first place?

Well, you should not. You did the right thing.
It is not your fault that your friend has turned to piracy. It is his choice, not yours.

But trying to control another person's Wii with intentions that are against the user's would be doing the wrong thing. Trying to control the way another acts just because you personally do not like it would be wrong and quite mean. None of us the right to do such a thing.

So, by rights, the Wii and its uses is under your friend's rule, and it is up to him on how he uses it.
If you try to "crusade" and do actually alter his Wii like this, the act could be classed as an act of spite, it would make you look like a control freak. You do not want to look like a control freak, do you?

As much as I like to help people with Wiis, this is something I cannot help with...
This act... is possible to do (providing the user does not know how to remod the Wii)... but I think that such an act is as bad as him pirating, and it would only lower youself down to his level.

Well, to be back on topic (thank you Mrkinator) . If you must,

Just install cIOS rev5 and format his drive to ext4 will kill USB loading, while retaining backup loading.

Like damysteryman said, doing this makes you "a control freak". Like a dictator.

I would suggest that you update him to 4.3 and tell him that it is possible to softmod 4.3 but you won't help him.

ps: I am actually a pirate too but I own around 2/3 of the games on my hdd

Here's what should work as good as possible:
for you, so you can do all stuff:
install the latest HBC
install IOS236 (TBR, IOS36, all 4 patches)

And then:
- Update to official 4.3
- Install IOS250 stub version
- Install all latest korean IOS
- Delete any custom channels(AnyTitle Deleter or WAD Manager uninstall)
- Delete any IOS > 100 that is not 222,223,249,250 or 254
- Uninstall HBC with its installer(i hope it has that option...)

To "fix" this again, you need to use smash stack or another disc game exploit and use cBoot2. These 2 are the only things that come to my mind which you can't prevent.

Nah, worst case is that he needs to use smash stack or another exploit to get HBC back, and then use cBoot2 to get a cIOS.

Why do you want to stop him? The things (weather good or bad) that he does are his decision only. Something tells me that in your search for stopping him you'll end up bricking his console.
that being, of course, the only way to permanently block piracy on a Wii.
