If your Wii is essentially a paperweight, why don't you try fixing it or sending it in for repair?

The typical problem with disk drives is that they lose calibration. There is a rheostat inside the drive that you can turn to increase the voltage of the laser.

Try that.


And if you're still interested in removing some of the system channels, they can be found in TITLE\100000\ after you dump your NAND.

Just open one of the TMD files in a hex editor and pull the Title ID. Make any wad with that same Title ID and WAD Uninstaller should be able to remove it.

I would send it in for repairs but im worried that nintendo will realize it was modded
The what would happen, they wouldnt fix it, but would they even send it back to me.
I've tried the the pot fix thats why it wont read anything at all now
and the rest you mentiond about making the wads i got no clue how to do and would be to worried about bricking my wii

I sent in a brick with the chip still melted onto the PCB, a burned DVD in the disc drive, and the entire case missing screws, being held together by tape, and they sent me a new one. They even included the DVD back in its own sleeve.

Register the serial at the Nintendo site for a free warranty.
