afaik no
while things like automatic merging with the drive of a friend would be really nice
I wouldn't bet a dime on it becoming available in the future

its a limitation in cios
the cios usb module can't handle hubs
and if you use both ports for hdds you can't use any rockband foo, mics or whatever
but most ppl want to

Not too sure if this what you mean...

I use CFG loader, with Hermes (222 mostly), and a fat32 drive.
I have the drive plugged into one usb port, and a hub in the other port, with 2 mics attached to the hub.
My wife and daughter play Beatles - rock band together, and both mics work fine...

I'm always wondering why some users reply to questions they don't know, only to answer incorrectly.

At least, do some research yourself before answering, because you are not helping him.
Or tell the user that you don't know the answer but maybe it exists because you are not following the loader's progress.
Or only answer the questions if you are following the question's subject (here usbloader's developement) and know your stuff and the current progress of all loaders.

hopefully, you didn't bet a dime

I tried the feature in USBloaderGX, and helped debug it a little.
Be sure to use Hermes 5.1 and not Hermes v4 (the drives are shut down at the start of the loader)
You can't disconnect one drive to connect a mic/keyboard/hub if you boot the loader in the multiports reading option. disable the option and reboot the loader first.
and last, use SD:/ path to store your covers and configs and all other paths. using one of the usb while using multiports can damage your partitions.

Yes both mics work at the same time, whilst connected to a hub on one port.
They often sing duets.. Unfortunatley it does'nt improve the quality of their singing though...
The other port is used for the HDD.

Yes, I've tried it out (I currently use uLoader for usb port#1) and I agree it can see the 2 ports, but you must have 2 HDD's connected if you select 'both' otherwise it freezes (at least mine does).

Seems to work fine if switching from one port to the other though (like uLoader).

Incidentally, I have a Wii that can power up on port#1 only (hence my reliance on uLoader which allows change of port without need to find connection on default port#0).
Is there any way to configure the USB GX v2.1 to look at port #1 first? Otherwise I can't start this one up.
