Nah, bend is either there or not from the beginning. It doesn't get worse and heat isn't the reason for it (impossible considering the temps). It's just bad construction on Nintendo's part. If you measure it you'll see it won't expand/contract anymore than it has.
This guy even got his brand new one shipped like that.
I play exclusively in docked and mine is fine.
I did not check if mine was bent when I got it, but it may very well have been.
However, the Switch does get pretty hot when docked, so hot that I considered that there might be something wrong with the fan especially as I never hear it, but when I put my ear up to it I can hear it's spinning so I suppose not. It's not uncomfortably hot, but it definitely is hotter than I would like. I'm mostly concerned about the battery as that's the most heat sensitive part.
I don't think we can rule out the dock causing bending due to heat, it does block the air vents after all.
Whatever the case, I am going to be very cautious so it doesn't bend further.
