Homebrew Is the Sky3DS blue button able to play trimmed roms?

The question is as stated above. I know that the new Sky3DS+ has this capability, but I currently own a Sky3DS blue button and was wondering whether trimmed roms are playable on it (MH4U, XC 3D etc.)

Yup. Actually playing trimmed roms on my Sky Blue Button.

Yes it can play trimmed roms, as long as your roms are under 4GB in size.

You will need a program called 3DSExplorer to trimmed the rom, you can get it here: https://code.google.com/archive/p/3dsexplorer/downloads
