Hacking Is The mset exploit still the best way?

First off, I'm not a noob to this scene, I've just never created an account.

I have a European 3ds v4.5.
I don't have ninjahax or any form of a flash card.

So here's my ploblem:

Last time I tried to install pasta cfw to, you know, install .cia's I first used mset and then installed pasta through the browser then used fbi to inject into health and safety app on emunand aswell as sysnand, my problem came with the sysnand part. The reason I did this was so I could launch pasta cfw without the need of the browser, can anyone guide me?
Also is the method I'm using outdated?

Yes. That's awfully outdated.
Update your 3ds to 9.0-9.2 and use rxTools+Themehax.

Do I need any flash cards of ninjahax for that? Also, will I need Internet to run the cfw each time?

Themehax lets you run CFWs during coldboot without pressing any key. And no flashcard/internet is needed once you set it up.


1) Update to 9.0~9.2

Can themehax be used if my emunand is on 10.2? With the second link, do I need ninjahax to update sysnand to 9.0-9.2? Because it mentions it

I used the europe Mset_eur cia to try to get my 9.0 N3DS to get to emunand without cubic ninja/zelda OOT exploit....

It didn't work, said cia couldn't be installed, can anyone help me, I don't want to keep having to use OOT to access emuNand
