Homebrew Is rxtools safe for 3ds?

I have a 3ds and I used the homebrew channel before and I used browserhax to get the homebrew channel but now I updated my 3ds to version 10.6 and the browserhax was patched so I can't get the homebrew channel so I decided that I will use rxtools but I'm afraid that it will brick my 3ds, so is rxtools safe for 3ds?

You can't use RxTools on 10.6 firmware.
Like @NinjaD said you need to be at 9.2 or lower in order to use RxTools.

You can buy sky3ds plus and run homebrew without the cfw, that is if you feel like spending 80 dollars or more.
