Hi! I'm new to gbatemp, recently I've been wondering if pokemon mini games are able to run on the gb/gbc hardware via a flashcart or gb emulation. I have no knowledge about the nintendo game hardware specifics, but i heard that the pokemon mini and gameboy have similar hardwares. Sorry if I sound stupid, but i'm very curious and a quick google search brings up nothing. Thanks!

maybe with a lot of work it could run marginal but you always need stronger Hardware than the Device you're trying to Emulate.

Also the Pokemon Mini has a Motion Sensor so some of the Games wouldn't work.

I would say maybe on the Gameboy Color it could be possible but I think the DMG is to weak because the DMG has only 8kb Ram and runs also on 4Mhz which is the same Clock frequency as the Pokemon Mini so the DMG is definitely to weak to Emulate the Pokemon Mini.

Pokemon mini has motion sensor? Like the thing Kirby Tilt N tumble uses? Do flash carts have that feature to play that game? Also it would be nice if it could do the poke walker thingy too. :ninja:

Some games like the Boxing Game from Pokemon Party Mini require you to shake the Pokemon Mini.
It's a just a simple tilt detector.
