The USB Compatibility Table says its 1.93 GB, but when I backed it up, it ended up being OVER 2GB.

Did I do something wrong here?

I think it could be differences between PAL and NTSC. I don't know though. =/

backed up GC games are ~2.2GB when on a PC, while Wii games are ~4.7GB(With the exception of SSBB), this is because of blank filler data. When it goes onto a WBFS formatted HDD said filler data is removed, shrinking the Iso to fit.

    What's "Deleted Update partition", though?

That is a part in the ISO file that has the update partion aka firmware update file for the Wii.
When you delete it you get like 100-200 MB space.

OK, this is getting a bit silly.

The file says it is both 1.91GB and 2GB. The folder even says its 1.91GB. But when I try to put it on my SD card, it says its too big, even though it SHOULD still fit.

How do I delete this, however?

Well the 2 GB cards are not 2048 MB-s they are around 1.85 GB or so.
And to delete the partion download Wii Scrubber and load the isom when you load it ur gonna see the update partion right click on it and click delete.

Or use WiiBackupManager, go to the settings and select "Delete Update Partition on copy" or something like that.

    short:
you are not the one doing it wrong (MS is), the game is to large - it will not fit

    long:
this is the usual problem with idiots confusing or lying about units
There are two types of unit prefixes relevant for data size:
    G (giga) and Gi (Gigabinary)
    1G is 1,000M or 1,000,000,000
    1Gi is 1,024Mi or 1,073,741,824
    both have their uses

the SD card you bought corectly states that it has at least 2GB (but not much more)
with with the G being giga which is a (american) billion thats about 2,000,000,000 Bytes
(since the filesystem uses some of this space (size depending on FS used) you can't use 100% but ignore that for now)

problem is that some idiots (like microsoft) insist on using GiB (which is ok by itself) but calling them GB without adjusting the numbers (which is about as smart as counting your dimes and then calling them quarters)
if windows tells you a file is 1.91GB it is actually 1.91 GiB or ~2,050,846,883 Bytes
which is a lot more than the 2,000,000,000 your card has
even if you lose nothing to the FS it simply won't fit

(queue morons claiming that MS is right)
