    Idk, a Black Hole maybe?
I've heard a few bricks have happened, due to FIRM corruption or something. I already installed A9LH a few times before, but never have I used the OTPless method.

There are bricked units. I wont use it until someone discovers the problem.

Actually the updated official guided uses it, for the n3ds part of the guide you drag and drop the data input files and the payloads and firm required for the installer and then you press install...

Then the guide can be considered unsafe. Why are we using a tool still heavily in development ?

According to Plailect, the brick percentage is 0.0065%. But I don't know if it is accurate.

It's pretty safe either way. You're talking about like what, 15 bricks out of 1000 installs? That's a pretty good ratio.

From what I've heard OTPless has only caused bricks with corrupt sd cards... Unfortuantly I dont think plailect's guide even shows the OTP method anymore for n3ds'?

Atleast for me, the OTPless install worked yesterday for me! ^^
However, on version 2.6.4 of SafeA9LHInstaller it got reported many bricks. On 2.6.6 seems Aurora Wright has changed the method of OTPLess install to see if this helps with the rare bricks. There haven't been reports of bricks on 2.6.6 , different from 2.6.4

There should be an option to go either the OTP route or OTPless

It's safer than downgrading to 9.2.

Actually it has a less chance of bricking then downgrading to 2.1, and its been heavily updated since the first otpless install method

Well, if you check the stupid mistakes people make when following the instructions you will go to the assumption that most of these mistakes are human. Hell even I recognize I did some serious stupid moves in the guide and I'm smart enough to recognize them. The proble is that people is lazy and won't check if everything is right after a fatal mistake... On topic, yes, it is safe
