Hacking Is my wiikey original?

I installed my wiikey and until now is working great. I played a Sonic and the secret rings backup and a multidisk gamecube backup.
Here is a picture of installation (sorry, my camera´s macro is poor)

If I burn the Setup disc 1.2 and it plays in my wii means that my wiikey is original?

I think the most reliable way to determine whether your WiiKey is original or not is to check where you bought it from and how much you paid.
The WiiKey setup disc will run on any modded Wii so that won't tell you anything useful I'm afraid.

I bought this chip in Paraguay, at the store had 2 types of chip
The Chinese Chip => $19
The European Chip => $39

Mine is europe, based in that pics at wiikey site, I think that is original.

It has the exact same IC and the exact same code flashed onto it. So, it wouldn't matter.
