Hello all, I've been reading through the topics trying to find a solution for my broken Wii. So far no luck. I hope you guys can help me.
I got a Wii from a friend. It booted nicely but it had an old software version. I think it was 3.2. I decided to return it to factory defaults to have a clean start. I should not have done that because after rebooting only the preloader (v 0.28) loaded. I had no idea it was modded.
None of the options in the preloader menu work. I can't start System Menu or the Homebrew Channel. I tried downloading different applications to my sdcard so I could run them from the preloader menu but to be honest I don't really know what I'm doing.
The Wii does not run ModMii as it boots into preloader. Running from the sdcard does not work.
Running HackMii gives an error that there is no system available.
Wad manager quits with an exception and memory dump.
Is my Wii bricked?
Anyting I can try?
