I don't know the model... Is my M3 a fake?

No, I don't think so, it's probably just a new batch of Reals....New ones doesn't have a chip protruding out..and the box you have is blue instead of black..(Black box-Perfect bundle, comes with GBA expansion and Rumble, Blue Box-not Perfect, comes with Rumble expansion)..
ANd you're box has Sakura logo (this is the new thing they are doing, newer batches has Sakura logo printed)..

So I think you're OK....plus, I've never heard of M3 Real clones for now..

Yeah, I've got an M3 Real BP3E too - got it 3 or 4 weeks ago from ozmodchips.

They're a very reputable dealer, so I'm pretty certain my M3 is genuine.

Keylogger, the only difference I can see between your pics and what I have here, is the placement of the M3 Sakura logo. My M3 cart has the logo on the label, but yours doesn't.

The packaging for your M3 Real has the Sakura logo on it, but mine doesn't - for comparison, my M3's packaging is exactly the same as the scorpei.com packaging you posted at the top of the thread. Does that prove anything? Probably not. Retail package designs get modified all the time. Variety is the spice of life, after all...

Looks like you have a genuine M3 to me...

Just a new batch. Should be perfectly fine, I have a similar one.
sorry to tell you, but this isn't the new batch.
it's an old batch in the box from a new batch.
webshops are mixing up the boxes a little, m3sakura logo on card itself=new batch.

unz, the label on my M3 cart is shorter than yours.

Hum...M3 cart with m3sakura logo on it: M3-NdsReal-BP3E
Mine (without the m3sakura logo on it): M3-NdsReal-BP3E

These 2 carts are the same.

And what about M3-NdsReal-CP2? Is it an old batch?

My M3Real came with the Sakura logo on the box and the M3 Real and had no chip sticking out.Mine came from KickGaming. I doubt there are any clones. My friend got an my Real half a year ago whent here wasn't M3 Sakura and it still had the chip sticking out.

I don't know why the label of my cart is shorter than others...

TheWingless, wich one do you have?

You're half right Keylogger. Actually, if you look closely, your label isn't shorter - it's just stuck on the cart higher than mine is.
But to confuse things even more, your label is wider than it should be.

Maybe your cart has an end-of-the-roll label, or perhaps it was mis-trimmed. I wouldn't worry about it too much either way. I used to put labels on things for a living. The damn things have a habit of moving around all over the place when you're labelling over 1000 units an hour on an assembly line. There's always the odd dodgy one that slips through QA somehow. Another possibility is that you have a "Friday unit". The cart was manufactured late in the day, just before the end of the shift, and the guy who was supposed to be inspecting the units was thinking about his after-work beer instead of keeping his mind on his job. It happens all the time.

Or maybe it's a one-off prototype that could be worth MILLIONS!

As long as your M3's PCB code matches (and it does), it's all good imo.

I know I'm bringing up a dead topic here, but ah well.

I just received a new M3 Real/Sakura (ordered it for my friend's Christmas prezzy). The label is shorter than my previous M3 Real (from a year back) and has that little bit cut off in the bottom left corner, just like Keylogger's. It also has the M3 Sakura logo on the top right, like unz's. I've also checked that it works, and it's completely fine with everything - games, internet, homebrew, media. I haven't tried homebrew bigger than 2MB, but I don't know any that big anyway.

Also looking closely, I can see a slight groove cut into the card. It's a perfect match to the size of the label, so I can say that there's nothing abnormal about any of the above pictures/cards.

Not that it really matters, but the PCB code reads M3-NdsReal-BP3E.

as long as the loader doesnt look like the r4 or dstt loader its fine and it uses the official firmware fine as well
