Ok so ive dusted of my old xbox(stock) and wanted to softmod it, so the first thing i did was get ahold of a memcard and splinter cell, and after that pu the SID and save game exploit on the memcard and run the installer to install EvoX.

Now the problem is i cant run any backup games (HDD or DVD, the dvd might be because its a +r and not a -r) did i miss something important to install? when i try to use the DVD nothing happens when i press on ''Play game from disc'' and when i put the game onto the HDD (''e:/games/ Star Wars Obi Wan'' inside that are all kinds of files so it isnt an ISO) its tries to load but then it goes back to the EvoX dash.

so if anybody can help me on this issue i would really appreciate it

Verify if everything is working alright by ripping your DVD to the xbox HDD and launching it from there.

oddly enough after allot of messing around with uninstalling and reinstalling the softmod i knew that couldnt be it....so after hours and hours i came to the conclusion to reinstall the game and....TADA it worked after that, so i think something went wrong with the copying but its all good to go now,

    so cheers dinoh =)

    No prob.

If you reinstalled the game on your Xbox HDD then you won't need to boot it up with the DVD still inserted anymore ;]
