Is it possible to transfer save data backup between 2 folders on the same sd card?

Months ago I homebrewed my 2ds, but I did something wrong as I didn’t delete one of the duplicate folders. Now I’m stuck with 2 folders (hacked/not hacked). I have to switch between them depending on what I want to play, but it’s annoying. I’ve wanted to merge the 2 folders for a while but what I found looked messy and complicated. Instead I could just transfer save data back up to my hacked folder, re download everything, recover the save data, delete the unhacked folder, and have everything accessible in one folder. Is there anyway to do this that is as simple as it can possibly be?

one folder contains all homebrew, the other is just a regular 3ds folder

that won't matter then. the 3ds folder is perfectly okay. this is not to be confused with the Nintendo 3ds folder.

What exactly are you doing when you "switch between them"? Usually the folder for homebrew and the "regular 3ds folder" are entirely different from one another.

What folders are you talking about exactly? And what do you mean by hacked exactly? Because once a system gas cfw, doesn't matter what folder you use (hacked/not hacked) it will be used by the system that has cfw installed.

I'm assuming you're talking about the folder with the 32 characters that's inside "Nintendo 3DS" folder? You're using 2, one was created before cfw, and one after? You should just backup saves with Checkpoint for the first one, reinstall games to the 2nd if you haven't already, then restore those saves with Checkpoint again. Easy, no swapping needed ever again.

You can't merge 2 Nintendo 3DS folders and expect them to work correctly, don't do it as you're going to mess both of them up. Do what i said above instead.
