Is it possible to remove the darkening from other VC too?

possibly in the config file, but I'm not sure. the config file would be with the save iirc.

Yeah, it's possible to remove the dark filter from the config files for DS and N64 VC titles. Other system's VC titles though can not be altered in such a way as they aren't set up with separate config files like that.
