Folks, Nintendo makes the emulators that ship with the VC games so unless they added in some form of wireless/multi player mode to it. theres no way. This isn't homebrew were talking about.

Oh VC specifically. Still possible but I was thinking about SNES9X that's definately possible

and it is a WAD just like SSB
Now this is one of the funniest things I've heared in a long long time xD

*I can play XBOX360 games on my Wii because they are ISO files, like the Wii disk images*

lol, but your jayparadox, can't you just "make a homebrew" :-P

On a serious note, imo emulators would be the only time efficient way to manage this. It could be possible either way, but to get it to a non buggy and decent version VC would take well over a year. Emulators on the other hand would bring in way more interest from coders that don't have a Wii. Testing would also be far easier on emulators.
Really to manage this with emulators wouldn't be that complex , it would just take effort, VC would be very complex and many things even if working wouldn't be fully understood.

So better to encourage this through emulators, and shift the topics emphasis to that again, imho.

it can't happen. no sourcecode = no extensive modifications possible. end of story. adding a whole online mode with server support (which happen to be nintendo's servers for the existing online wiiware games) is impossible to do by "hacking it".
