Gaming Is it possible to acquire a level 9 compressed ISO from web?

Hi,
I was interested in Crisis Core and due to it being 1.5Gig and our stupid internet connections, I was wondering if its possible to acquire its compressed level 9 ISO from web, do sources have this kind of iso's? I'm asking this because a used mentioned that this game works with level 9 of compression without lag. ( I think it should be a .CSO file)

For the same reasons you don't find too many trimmed DS ROMs.

trimmed roms? thats the opposite in my opinion, Most trimmed roms I have are like 70% of their original sizes and I that 30% for a 1.5G file AND over dial up, would be ALOT.

Well, I can't find a CSO version of CC. Perhaps, like GOW, CSO makes it lag? I have no idea. But I did find a one link download to the ISO. HTTP too. >_>

not possible unless you find a private site or get someone to upload it compressed for you. PSP scene releases are only ever full, clean, untouched ISOs or UMD rips (probably your best option, larger games are frequently re-released as UMD rips where they have video or audio removed from them to reduce the filesize of the ISO.)

edit: Twiffles, i've compressed my ISO of CC to a level 9 CSO, works flawlessly on CFW 3.71 M33-4, i've been playing it for a few hours now, and everything runs extremely smoothly which honestly, i'm surpised at (most larger games do experience lag when compressed so well, but then again, CC only shrinks by 500mb).

Considering the release is 1 gig rared, just download it and CSO it yourself. Downloading a CSO directly won't save you bandwith...

Crisis Core = 1.09 GB with level 9 CSO compression. And no, it does not lag one bit.

Releases are .RARed. RAR compression is better than CSO compression. CSOs compressed in RAR files will be the same size as the ISO compressed.

I have a 947 meg of Crisis Core in .cso format and it works great so far that i downloaded.

I haven't personally CSO'd FFCC, but I have seen it for less than 1 Gig.

I am sure that if you use UMDGen 4.0 you can rip the update and any other unecessary files, then use level 9 (highest) compression to achieve less than 1 Gig CSO.

If you want to download the file as a 1Gig CSO, there is only one place that I know of and it is uploaded by private parties.

FYI: You really don't need to use 9 compression. The difference between 1 and 9 in size is often 4MB or less. When game performance takes a hit, it'll take more of a hit on 9 than on 1.
