Hardware Is it normal that I have to resync Wii Remote every time I turn on my Wii U?

It looks like every time I start my console I need to resync my Wii Remotes every time I turn on my Wii U.

Is this normal?

Running the latest version of Mocha FTW with haxchi and CBHC.

It never loses the sync when playing the game.

Every time I restart my console, I have to sync my Wii Remote. (Gamepad works fine).

Any ideas?

don't know. that shouldn't happen with cbhc or mocha. the gamepad and the wiimotes use a different method to transmit data which might explain y the gamepad doesn't have this issue. it could be a hardware problem.

is it an official nintendo wiimote? Do you have some other device you think it might be syncing with?

Change boot option(s) to sysmenu and see if it synchronizes with Wii U on boot.

hm? Is it a Wii Remote Plus or a Wii Remote? Also, how many WiiMotes are synced with the console?

Actually it counts like that :

WiiMote = 1 controller
WiiU Pro Controller = 1 controller.
