Gaming Is it dangerous to downgrade frequently?

concerning ps3 downgrading a lot of people want to downgrade for backups then upgrade to use psn. Are there greater risks of destroying the integrity of the system if one downgrades and upgrades frequently?

there is noting that can be ruined by up and downgrading to often there are no e-fuses in the ps3 that can be blown. its as save as normal firmware patches. providing you use the right update files and don't get a power failure during update
