Homebrew is ctr-httpwn compatible with 11.5?

Hi, I'm a noob at homebrew but yesterday I decided to use the flipnote studio 3d exploit and now I have homebrew, I noticed that I have ctr-httpwn on my homebrew launcher and when I open it I can set it up, I don't want to yet as I don't know if it's safe on 11.5..
could it brick my system if it isn't compatible with 11.5?
is it compatible with 11.5?

It was patched in 11.3 or 11.4 so it no longer works. It's only a temporary patch so trying to use it won't brick your 3DS, but it won't work either.

Ctr-httpwn just spoofs your 3ds to 11.6. it was patched on 11.4, so it just won't work anymore. Also, you cannot brick your 3ds with just userland Homebrew. You would need a full custom Firmware to do that, and even then you would have to be actively trying to brick, due to recent innovation.
