I'm thinking of getting beats audio studio headphones. Is it worth the price? I'm going to use it for games.
I've got a pair as a present and they're only really good when you have something that specially uses Beats Audio.

When I've used them previously, there wasn't that much difference but with my phone that has Beats Audio enabled it sounds pretty damn fucking great. There is a notable difference listening with regular and BA headphones.

Someone here said that turtle beach is better then beats
Turtle Beach mostly makes headsets for PC 360, and PS3 gaming. If you bought a pair, you'd have to find an adapter that allows you to connect them to whatever device you want to use them with. I use my Turtle Beach X41's (meant for the 360) as headphones on my PC and they have pretty good sound, better than beats I'd say. But if you're going for headphones, just get Sennheiser or Klipsch not a Turtle Beach headset.

No, not worth it.

If you want quality for an actually fair price, get some Sennheiser headphones.

Probably overkill for videogames, but i'd suggest getting the Sennheiser HD558. The sound is godlike. I'm wearin' em right now. Best purchase ever. I do actually find that I can't play games with other headphones because the sound quality is just complete shit by comparison. Music especially though.

Damn those are expensive. :wtf:

I'd recommend getting the senheiser hd 202 if you don't want to spend that much on headphones, but all in all Beats aren't worth the price tag. Hell, even $100 would be pushing it by audio technician standards.

I thought they were insanely expensive too.

and then I put them on...

I personally found these even worse.
I do to just a little, but umm I would really prefer those then crappy beats cause there cheaper and at least have descent audio quality not great though would you?. You don't have to answer if you haven't tried beats
I have tried both, I haven't tried those 50 cent ones though. I personally dislike Souls more then the Beats, and would probably go for the Beats. I've also tried some knockoff Beats Pro, and they actually sound better to me then the real deal. There are still plenty of cheaper alternatives that are much better, though.

i didn't really like the souls either, i own a pair of beats pros i got as a present, to be honest the fake and real ones like Hikaru said don't sound a lot different although the fake ones do tend to break very easily and are cheap. you can get better sounding headphones than the beats at a smaller cost, although the beats look great
