  • Also retroarch PS1 emulation was just updated recently w to run at full the speed with new renderer. Sure the switch is better and more powerfu but the latest revision is currently unhackable at least for the time being until someone gives an exploit. Not dead but has slowed down.

Something which was never alive (discounting system tools and emulators, not all of which are lame libretro ports but some are, and a few ports of open source games) cannot be called in good faith dead, and that's in turn because unlike in the DS/PSP/Wii age there wasn't much of a demand for another system on which you could send and receive email at "any" wifi hotspot, read the kamasutra on, or view world maps
