Hacking iPod DS on R4 help

A friend of mine put me onto this, http://www.macuser.com/geekery/nintendo_ipodds.php
has anybody tried this on the R4, i can get the .nds to boot, goto music, goto songs, but no .mp3 in list

Does anyone know where i should be putting the audio files on micro SD, or any details on how to use this.

If you can't filebrowse your card. Then it's prob due to lack of support for the R4 (No FAT drivers). Just wait till he adds DLDI so the R4 R/W works properly. Or use an alternative program for mp3's. Moonshell and DSOrganize is capable of that.

Does this support closing the DS with the music still playing?

i don't know coz i can't get it to play anything, i've tried putting the .mp3 in the root of micro SD, in a songs folder, in a songs folder which was in a music folder, just no .mp3 showing up in list?????

I've tried it in emulators and it seems to be ok, no sound though as emus are to slow at the min.

looks awesome, before i bought my DS for some reason i was torn between buying it or buying a 30GB iPod video.

i ended up buying both

just because it looks good doesn't mean the other apps are inferior. Moonshell still >>> IPod DS. visuals don't mean a thing. if there's a DPG playback support and mini games, then it'd beat moonshell.

Good effort anyways.
