No idea, but my PC usb ports are 5V 500mah, I think is not as problematic as high output ports...
But I have already fried all usb ports and all PCI slots (using PCI USB card) from my old computer motherboard because of yes, you guessed it, USB cables
.
However it wasn't exactly the cable quality it self but the fact that I'm always out of luck and even most expensive devices I buy bring broken usb cables shorted inside, a twist it works, we move a bit it stop working.
I have a god damn huge amount of bad broken or desoldered usb cables internally and I never twist them, wrap, push or anything. Hell my PS4 Micro-Usb cable went bad too a few days ago...
Ps: so I have no clue if a good working but far from 56Kohm usb Cable will do any damage to use on a usb 0.5A output port for data transfer. I will risk and just use this cable for data transfer on my Switch later, just not to charge it...
