My friend has a iphone 3gs old bootroom and is on ios 5. He is jailbroken untethered because he is on old bootroom, He does not have any blobs saved. I looked in the guide and didnt see anything however i wasnt sure if it was upto date and just want to get a final answer to give him. Even if i have to update it to the special ipad baseband. And i dont think at&t will be willing to unlock it, not even for a fee right (if i take it after i restore it)? Would gevey sim work? What about the sim swap trick i heard of. Is it temporary officialy or can it be permanent?
