Gaming iPad headphones problem

So I got an iPad today and when I plugged in my headphones I noticed that I get incredibly weak volume coming out of my headphones. My headphones are perfectly fine and my ipads volume is set to max and still I barely get any sound coming out any help here? Thx

This is very odd... Did you push in the plug completely?
By the way, there is an ipod/iphone/ipad section.

Yes the headphones are in all the way and when I push on them no difference. Also sorry didn't know there was an iPod section.

...I have the ipod touch 3g headphones , and I've never had this problem, except if it wasn't completely plugged in. Try plugging in other headphones or speakers to see if the iPad's headphone port is defective.
