The wiki page on Wiibrew.org says that although IOS37 is released, it hasn't been put to effect. However, that page does look a little outdated to me. And a friend says that version 3.3 uses IOS37. I'm confused.

Is IOS37 in use or not? And can it hurt my homebrew..ing?

On the contrary, I think that IOS37 has been released with all the features that has been said, but is dormant, system 3.3 uses an updated version on IOS30 which has the trucha block and twilight hack check, so atm, IOS37 is not used, i think...

IOS37 has already been released. It doesn't do anything to do with the Homebrew Channel at all. BUT it does block Datel's Freeloader and any Trucha Signed discs.
