    hi

I have a normal ds and use homebrew. But is there a program to go on internet?

I know ther is a opra ds browser but I prefere to have it at 1 card and not 2 (because you need a expansion pak).

    Any sugestions?

There's DSHobro which gives you the full Web experience, however it requires you to run a server application on your PC and stay within range (or at least open ports and set it up right to have access to the server application from Hotspots) or Bunjalloo browser which is the second best native browser, the best being Nintendo's Opera-based one. Pick your poison. ;)

Ignore the message, do not press "Ok" and type the IP address of your PC manually in DSHobro by pressing "X" in the Main Menu. Remember to run the Server as an Administrator.

What's the point of this? If you have to be near a PC, might as well use the PC.

If you forward ports or tunnel, you can use it at Hotspots, it's just troublesome to set up. Bunjalloo on the other hand is fully self-sufficient. Overall though, the DS is a poor device for browsing the Internet, the CPU and the amount of RAM really hold it back.

You can't get a decent web browser with the ds's processing power (66+33mhz) and ram amount (4 MB). The ram expansion pack helps, but even opera itself isn't worth using (I got it from the star catalogo of nintendo of europe just for the expansion pack...)

This is why DSHobro is probably the best browser equivalent for the DS - most of the image processing is done PC-side, the DS just recieves .JPEG's of the pre-rendered site which is near-ideal for a low-powered device.
