Internet Explorer has not been Working

Well here's the thing, I'm a Firefox user and never use IE. But some of my programs update using it. So about a year ago, IE just stops working. I can open it, I just cannot navigate any web pages... I have followed EVERYTHING from this page, but still nothing...

I've tried updating it, tried doing the sfc/ scannow thing, but nothing works...

Soo... Any help would be nice.

Have you tried using the IE TAB add-on for Firefox ?

[EDIT] Sorry - I'm being dumb. If IE doesn't work by itself, why would it work with a plug-in ? Are you sure it's not a firewall/peerguardian problem ?

I'm pretty sure... I don't use PeerGuardian often, and I'm pretty sure Firewall isn't doing anything.
