I've already seen some negative impressions on the browser, but sincerely, I think it's pretty fine. Granted, it might be a bit slow, doesn't support YouTube and has to render incrementally, but major sites (Gmail, Facebook, Digg, GBAtemp...) seem to work. Zooming is smooth. Also, it does seem to support many HTML5/CSS3 features, AJAX and Canvas (I will post compatibility results soon).

Reading the specifications from the manual Nintendo claim to be using code from both Apple and WebKit for their browser.

We could also post links to mobile versions of popular sites.

E.g. for Gmail it's http://m.gmail.com
For Facebook it's http://m.facebook.com
You need to Google these.
Type it in to the address bar and it just says "Invalid Url"

Eh ??? They work fine on 3DS as well as on my computer.
they work fine on my PC, Just not the 3DS.
I'll try again.
work for me too on 3ds.
are you typing the http:// too? because it's already there.

I'm using the 3DS browser to type this...it's actually way faster than I thought it would be! I hope they make stuff like a youtube app...and the ability to view 3D images in the browser is pretty neat. What's this "canvas" thing you guys speak of?

Part of html5, a new(ish) html/javascript standard that lets you do some of the same stuff that Flash lets you do but without plugins. Yes, that includes browser based games.
