Don't use the bootloader mode, use the salt mode version instead and hold start on boot to launch it.The main advantage to this is if your luma dies on your ctrnand and your sysnand is bricked this will still boot up regardless.

Lurking in the Void for a bit
    it replaces b9s
    just reinstall b9s
holding start with a saltmode build boots into bootloader mode
what are you trying to say?
    also not everyone uses luma
but its safe to assume he does

Well one of the latest links lets me hold start to get into god mode 9 and it says salt mode on the right hand corner so I assumed that's salt mode. The one you linked in your tutorial sead bootloader mode after the install, which would pop up each time i turned on my 3ds without holding any buttons, but gave me that aeskeydb.bin error which I can't get rid of even with a aeskeydb.bin in the support folder which is why I installed it with the other link instead that says latest at the end.

What other cfws run in the ctrnand besides luma? I'm pretty shure I sead ctrnand luma and not sd card luma since this boots without a boot.firm on the ctrnand when you have no sd card in the 3ds,which makes this super useful.

I don't call it a brick, it's just a bad file or bad luma hourly, just change the file in the SD and it's ok

If your sysnand is truly bricked then your 3ds may not read the boot.firm on the sd card either. Then you have the ctrnand luma as the second layer of protection but that can also get corrupted,so the gm9 chainloader pretty much adds a 3rd layer of protection since it boots without a boot.firm on the ctrnand.

Needs an SD still. I could push an update to fix that but it would take up a lot of space on the nand.
