That would probably be the ideal solution.

And whatever you do, DO NOT UPDATE YOUR NEW SYSTEM TO 11.0 otherwise we'll tell you the same things we've been telling you to do. Stay on your current firmware and follow this guide from Part 1 to Part 3 and do Section II - Injecting FBI ONLY on Part 4 to downgrade to 9.2 so that you can set up a custom firmware and install CIAs.

You said you "would have found the answer here". If you only meant the small bit at the end saying to search the forum you'd have don't better to only say that, rather than quote the whole thing and confuse the issue.

I only mentioned the part of your post that was incorrect.

That was only a quote, if i had editied to be right, it would also be wrong and not a quote.

Or i could have excluded it entirely but then someone should be updating that information.

Can @Chary fix that or does someone with more premissions need to like @Bortz ?

While that might be true, I stil chose to open my own thread since an answer could lead me into asking a follow-up question. That should be reason enough to start your own thread in my opinion.

To be honest, if you want my opinion (you probably don't) the preaching gets a little annoying. Better to just answer the question, and maybe quietly say "and for follow up questions, here's the link to the noob thread". Ragging on people isn't going to change the past and make them put their first post in the right place. It'll just make everyone else cringe a bit.

Hm? I don't know what exactly is being asked. If someone needs a post edited...well they can do so themselves? Quotes can be edited to contain only a set amount of information as well.

Personally I don't really see much problem with the thread. Question asked, question answered. It wasn't an overly obvious question...as far as I know? I'm not too up to date on 3DS hacking. Just staying on topic to the discussion is fine, let's try not to derail everything here.
