I installed the cia for Gundam the battle 3d on my 3ds but it does not show up. I have pasta cfw and the region free on my 3ds. Why would it not show up is it for a firmware higher than what I have?

Just to make sure are you using Ntr CFW or free multi patcher to enable region free? Pasta does not have region free implemented.

If youre on old 3ds I suggest setting up an emunand, updating it to 10.1, installing modified themehax and rxtools. Then you can launch into recent version emunand/cfw as soon as it's powered on. I've had no issues with cias with that setup.

This right here. Grab the free multi patcher cia and run it, suddenly your other games will magically appear.

I used the region three to make the 3ds region free and I use the pasta cfw and it allowed me to install the cia but it does not show up. I will have to try what you all said to try and see if it works with that.

You don't just make your 3ds region free you need to enable region free each time you reboot your 3ds after running pasta by using ntr cfw or freemultipatcher.

Mostly, yes, the only thing not present in rxTools yet is the devmode (aka non-firmlaunch mode)
rxTools 3.0 has devmode, I've used it myself.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I still use it daily. I'm one of those who prefer sysnand. Maybe it's just because it was the first New 3ds cfw with sigs patched so it was love at first sight :rofl2:
I ditched it for rxTools, can't remember exactly why but it made things easier when I made my EmuNAND afterwards.

I was refeeing to the N3DS version of rxTools , which doesn't contain devmode yet.
