According the the NH hacking guide, it tells you to install the Youtube application before setting up emuMMC. I did everything the guide told me to do, but when I try to boot up youtube on emuMMC, it says that it is not installed and prompts me to connect to the internet. On sysnand, the app works fine for some reason.

NH switch guide under "Console Preparations" says that you need an app to boot homebrew.

You don't really need that. It's because you can start the homebrew menu by holding R during you launch a game or app. That will give the homebrew menu more RAM. But you can also start the homebrew menu from the album. If you really need starting the homebrew menu from a game, you can also do that with an installed nsp.

you need a patched youtube for cfw..... due to dmr of the hd signal it wont work if this isnt patched out of the nsp..... you can find a patched one but i recomend just using your sysnand for youtube.... with incognito implemented on your emunand....
