Hacking Install games idea

I was think can we start install games thread. When you install your games from your disc to your hdd or USB and upload them, so people with scratch discs can be able to be their games again instead of buy a new copy. I don't think it will be that hard because all you have to do is upload the game you installed in your hdd or USB then people just download it in their USB or something and will be able to play their games again. :biggrin:

HDD Installs are assigned by console. You wouldn't be able to use a HDD Install on a console that the install wasn't done on.

If you install a 360 game to the HDD it still needs the DVD present in the drive for verification.

Your idea can easily be spoofed to allow backupped games to be played in an unmodded console, something MS clearly doesn't want at all.

If you have a scratched disk go to a video store [if they even still exists] and hope they have a copy of the game. Other than that you can borrow, or if your really desperate go to best buy buy the game, burn it, then return it right away for a full refund [maybe even switch the disk nudge, nudge, wink, wink, ya know what I mean, ya know what I mean]
