Hacking install eShop release

I just tried to install a copy of GRIS eShop NSW-VENOM via Goldleaf but it did not install.
I wonder if there is anything special about installing eshop releases? I remember that i had read something about DevMenu.
Anyone got a clue how to get this running?

According to your above questions I assume there is nothing special to do when installing eShop games? I just have to use a specific combination of CFW and Goldleaf (most likely the latest?)

Nothing special, yea. You just need any CFW and any installer (which works for your fw). Maybe that you have a bad dump (but it's from venom, so idk)?

I found the answer myself as nobody really had a clue here
GRIS needs a higher firmware version to run. Unfortunately Goldleaf won't report that. It gets better with Goldeaf 0.5 as that does not crash but report some cryptic error (a little at least )

The game can be repacked with NSC_Builder to run on lower firmware....
Of course a firwmare update also works.

GRIS will not work on 5.1 and below, even with ignore FW. It was the game that finally pushed me over the edge to go to 6.0 and beyond.

I can confirm it is not working also rebuilding it.
The same for Treadnauts. Cannot be rebuilt for 4.x firmware.
