I am also searching for a similar app on Android which could do the same job as TuxSH/mastermune's InputRedirectionClient-Qt. If we refer to the documentation of QtGamePad, the library is supported by Android (v4.1+) using the InputDevice API. Unfortunately, I don't have enough experience in coding and at a first sight, it seems that there is something more to do than just compile the GitHub repo.

By the way, I am going to learn a bit to see if it is actually doable. Also, I always wondered if it is possible to use an other communication method (something else than through wifi). I am thinking about the data-sharing which is available in most smartphones. Too little knowledge here too.

Some documentation :
  • Qt for Android
  • QtGamePad
  • Getting started with Qt for Android
  • InputRedirection-Qt GitHub Repository

I'd also like an InputRedirectionClient-Qt pie to Android. Like, have all its features in an Android app, and being able to use input redirection on the go.

As I am not a programmer and tried to get something working, the app has a lot of bugs :
  • Analog inputs act like dpad inputs
  • There are some ghost-input issues
  • Lots of code improvement could be made
  • Missing Android native theme (Qt default)
Don't hesitate to share your thoughts about the porting.

To see the release : GitHub > InputRedirectionClient-Qt > Forks > InputRedirectionClient-Qt-Android > Release (sorry can't post a link yet)
