Hacking ingame updates not working anymore?

hi at all,

I could always just hit Y button and it would load the game update. now it only returns different error messages. has nintendo blocked updates for games I did not buy online? I have installed the games as .cia dumped from cartridge.

any help is highly appreciated.

Download from nintendos eshop working fine. Which errors do you get?
