PSP CFW 6.61 Infinity tutorial
(PSPs 07g/09g on <6.31 may brick on install.) Update to OFW 6.61.
1. To install, copy PSP directory onto PSP memory card.
2. Place the respective 631.PBP and 661.PBP into the MAKER folder. Run the MAKER app.
3. If successful, there will be a DATA.MFC file in the MAKER folder.
4. Copy this to the FLASHER folder and run the FLASHER app.
4. After this, your device will reboot and you'll be in Infinity.
5. From here, install any CFW.
6. Activate the permanent patch in the Infinity Configuration (STAGE) app.

I think v1.02 potentially could cause bricks. I have used v1.0 with 8 3001s, so I stayed with what worked. I archive these kinds of files physically and virtually to streamline the processes and to avoid these situations.

All set up, bootloader on update says error, no files. Is that normal?
Also, can I delete those folders now or keep em?

Yes, you get an error screen on the initial boot afterwards. You can delete your whole memory card now.
