Wipes personal information from your Nintendo Switch by removing it from prodinfo.

purpose
a) So your switch can go online without worrying about a ban or using random dogdy DNS servers that are also likely to get you banned.

b) so malicious homebrew applications cannot steal your personal certificate.

disclaimer
Always have a nand backup. I am not responsible for any bricks or bans. Use at your own risk, experimental.

This application backs up your prodinfo to the SD root, you should keep this backup in a more secure location, and not leave it on the SD card where malicious applications can read it.

edit: atmosphere blocks writes to CAL0, so you must use ReiNX or SX OS to install this. Once installed, you can switch back to atmosphere.

prodinfo.bin go to switch folder, then the incognito folder it should be in there.

There is no incognito folder inside switch folder except from the incognito.nro file.

Mine was in the incognito folder with the nro file they probably put it on there computer and deleted it that's what I did.

I haven't used Incognito in awhile so I can't say for certain, but the readme on Github says that the prodinfo.bin is backed up to the root of the SD.

Have a thorough look through the card, do a search on your computer. If you don't find it, ask the seller for it.
Hopefully he didn't sell the switch because he lost the backup, but if so hopefully you can seek compensation through ebay or whatever, and/or send the boys round to give the guy a kicking.

No, everything should work as it did before, and nothing should be deleted.

With Incognito, you will be unable to use Nintendo services (i.e. Online play and the eShop).

If you don't use online play, you don't need to make an emuNAND.

You should still keep your Switch offline (or connect to the internet using 90DNS and/or Incognito) to avoid being banned.

ya i use 90DNS great thanks but still i very rarely use the net on the console anyway i have a backup console too and looking to get a 3th one seen how Switch breaks like its made from paper

If you do not have a clean NAND backup, then you risk a ban once you remove Incognito. And since you are effectively banned while using Incognito, there is no point in using it for you.

As far as I can tell RN, this should :
- Block any connection to Big N's servers
- Backup & then `rm` the original Prodinfo.bin

I'm currently using SX OS (yeah, yeah, I know ..)
Tried both the SX Stealth Mode & 90DNS with FTPD but they seem fairly slow (I've got 1Gbps fiber @ home, gonna upgrade to 10Gbps in March) so I'm looking for an alternative.
(SX Stealth looked a bit faster but who cares ?)

So, the question is : should I remove 90DNS's addresses / disable SXStealth after using incognito or should I keep either one activated ?

(I'm not using 90DNS & SX Stealth at the same time, rest assured)
Don't wanna screw up the whole setup, it takes a tremendous amount of time (thanks to NX's I/O speed), so I prefer asking here.

There's no reason to use any kind of internet blocker if you used Incognito.

incognito doesn't work like that if you install it on your emmunand you can go online with your sysnand and it wont let you online in the emmunand.... that's the best route to go... find the thread here on how to enable incognito on atmosphere as if i remember correctly reinx doesnt work with latest stuff to install it on latest cfw setup... i will honestly say its been a while since i switched cfw due to conflicts between reinx and atmosphere. once its done correctly your prod.info will be wiped and backed up.... ps you may need to create a incognito folder in the switch directory then after getting the .nro, put it in there b4 running it so it can do its job cleanly ..... you will need to edit some things to be able to write a 00000000 prod.info first as well so look for that thread about enabling incognito in atmosphere...... you wont be sorry and its super simplet to implement.... i hope this is helpfull cheers

unclean how? if you dont run cfw via payload. and run original os its still clean unless you've installed hacked roms... and hb on it directly... heres the kicker... if atm your not banned yet for previous reason and you want a clean nand, then just do a system restore. then relink your nintendo account and your all set.... clean nand. ity may not be original one it was purchased with but as long as you dont try to downgrade to a lower version than the one you've got. on after tyhis process. make a emmunand with hekate and your good to go. i know this is good cause i did it .. the key is not being banned and as long as you hjave an unpatched switch that accepts payloads.... you will be fine.. i advise keping a copy of the "cleaned nand" on a cloud drive like onedrive so you'll basicly never loose it and if as firmware goes up you can restore it to that version, unless pretendo does something to surcomvent the preocess. also puth the prod.info on the cloud drive too
