I'm currently in the situation where I have nothing left to play. I've played almost everything in the Essentials list, and looked through many other topics.
I was wondering if there's a game I should give another chance at?

It's late in February however if you wait 2 days you can get Super Robot Taisen OG Saga Exceed. You can also wait for the extensive number of US and Japanese March games

They are installments in a series, play ZX first then ZX Advent if you want to play them in order. Skip to ZX Advent if all you want is gameplay.

Just go on a rom site and randomly download Japanese games.

go to the gamespot.com site, search for games of the genre you like, pick anyone.

thats what i do and that was how i discovered games like The Legend of Kage 2 that is such a good game.
