Here is my entry...

iMenu is a replacement for the official plugin menu on the Supercard DSTwo.
With it, you can change your boring DSTwo
from this

to this

even this

CannonFoddr has created a short video explaining some of the features of iMenu...

You can of course download the latest build of iMenu from my website - here. actually here.

It would have been so cool if these would work on other flashcarts as an OS replacement.
Which I feel is possible seeing the Men-u-do works on others.

Possible, but it would mean re-writing the whole thing. iMenu is created as a .plg (plugin) for the DSTwo and uses the extra processor provided by the DSTwo cart. It can not be loaded on other carts.

Technically.... NO it cannot run ROM's - as Spinal said in first post
QUOTE said:
iMenu is a replacement for the official plugin menu
meaning it does whatever the plugin menu does - & since the plugin menu doesn't run ROM's straight from that menu, neither does iMenu...

....BUT you CAN run SNES ROM'S directly from iMenu by using a special BAGSFC that accepts the 'ARG' command (shown in action ~1:10 in my video)
In fact ANY program that can accept the ARG command can run things 'automatically' (i.e. you don't need to run the program THEN load in the file) - so if someone gets around to updating the GBA or Lameboy emulators to include this - you should be able to run those ROM's straight from iMenu as well (in theory)

Another 'plus' point is that you can run Homebrew located in any other folder you like, unlike the current official plugin menu where you HAVE to put the homebrew into the '/_dstwoplug/' folder

Like the guys have said, It doesn't run commercial games, but neither does the official version.

By installing iMenu onto your DSTwo card, you gain a better looking plugin menu, which offers a bit more functionality than the official one, you loose out on nothing at all.

I don't really like this, IMO, the loading font is ugly and the loading times are slow, but it's just my opinion....
I use this plugin linker so I can make my plugins somewhere other than the _dstwoplug folder

Seriously? the 'loading' font is a major factor in your decision to not use this? If I'm not mistaken though, that plugin linker can only do .nds files, iMenu can load a .PLG from anywhere on your card.

Also - don't forget, iMenu can do SNES roms as well, it also can run homebrew from anywhere other than '/_dstwoplug/' AND (if it ever happens) other Emulators that allow the ARG command will ALSO be able to run those ROMs straight from iMenu

Slow loading times ?? What - when iMenu start up ?? - ~5 seconds longer than the 'normal' plugin menu... Wow!! I didn't think that was so critical...
It's about the same time to boot up as with Wood/Akaio & that's even shorter than when M3iZero boots up - that takes ~15-18secs

Where can I download iMenu skins? I REALLY like the Gbatemp skin. _>

Really nice work! I like it a lot more than the standard skin.

EDIT 2: I see it needs a little bit more work. Half my plugins (BAGSFC one of them) won't work. Also when using the Gbatemp skin it won't even load up... >_>

I LOVE how it looks but I don't think I will use it until the bugs are wrinkled out.

Really? the vast majority of people have no issues at all, everything works as it should for them. Have a look at the .ini files in /_imenu/_ini/ and make sure the file paths are correct.

It works fine for me. Make sure you have the latest updates from the official dstwo site, the older version of dsgame.nds does not allow loading in the current way.
