Hacking Im New and can use some help!

Okay so im more off a psp guy i no all about those. I recently bought a DSi and i want to get into messing around with this thing. Now im a bit confuse does the DSi work like a psp and goes by firmware ( downgrade to OFW -> upgrade to CFW ? ) if it works the same as psp can some one give me some firmware links. and also I looked around these forums and heard something about a R4 and acerkard card? what are they used for and can someone link me to a tutorial. thanks!

No the ds is a bit more expensive in this way...you will need a flashcard,my advice is look for an

If you buy a brand new one then they will work on 1.4.1. However in answer to your question, once you upgrade your DSi firmware you cannot in any way downgrade your firmware.

Cheap would be shops located in china.

Fast delivery would be shops located in Canada (most "US" ones are just across the Canadian border for legal reasons).

correct. once you get you flashcard the you will use firmwares and kernels but for the card,never for the ds

it depends on where you buy it from, but most of them should already work on the the ds 1.4.1u
