Hacking I'm getting a different SSBB problem

I have a WiiKey 1.9G with 3.1U firmware and when I attempt to load the game it says Now Loading then goes to a white screen that looks like:

Is this a region free problem or is it a laser reading error problem? I'd like to know where to start if anyone knows.

I have the same error too and I'm about to go nuts,
Try unplugging your Wii for a few minutes then try again, I know someone who did this and it never came back (Didn't work for me)..

Re-insert the disc every time this problem comes up. Meanwhile, search for a different media or burner.

I think this has kinda been proved to be a media issue, just try a decent brand of DL disc and burn slowly.

For me, when I re-insert the disc it comes back after a few seconds\minutes
I'm using Verbatim DVD+R DL

Well, when it was on this screen, I ejected the disk and put in a single layer copy and the menu loaded fine. So it's fairly certain that it's a problem with the laser being able to read the data from the DL disc, either because of the media or because of low laser strength on the Wii.

My Wii does get read errors fairly often, even on original discs, so it's likely that I have a weak laser in general. I'll try with a different brand of media and see if it helps at all.

ie. Try with better media
