Hacking I'm bricked. Error 160-0101. Can I recover with a backed up nand?

At least you have a full backup. So you are able to unbrick it with a hard mod and soldering. If you have the skills required to install the hard mod anyway.

To be honest, installing the hard mod to the WiiU motherboard isn't hard at all. Soldering in general isn't hard, if you got the right tools for the job.

How exactly does one create a flashable image to flash a backedup NAND? I have mlc.bin, otp.bin, seeprom.bin, slc.bin, and slccmtp.bin, and I'm unsure of what or which files are used to recover.

I'm not sure exactly. I am trying to find a full guide on the hard mod install too. But I don't think anyone wrote a guide for a full nand restore yet.

But like I said, I'm not sure, so I could be wrong. Someone else will have to help you with that one. I don't want to steer you in the wrong direction with false information.

Frankly i think waiting 30 seconds for Haxchi to boot up. Is a small price to pay to avoid a possible brick. Also i have to something similar with my Ipad. So i'm use to it.

Yes all you need is otp.bin to fix a cbhc brick. Well, that and some good soldering skills and a teensy++ 2.0

You didn't shorten NAND pins though? Well, then we'll wait for your guide... as long as everything goes right.

that's eMMC NAND (32/8 GB), you have to hardmod TSOP NAND

I've actually gone through the steps a few times and done thing wrong due to the lack of assumed knowledge with the teensy.

But that's why I'm doing this. So I can mess up for you guys and write a good step by step. Don't worry. I'll get it done. I just want it to be accurate and easy to follow.

Nope, no NAND backup, paper weight if you dont have the otp.bin or a full slc.bin backup BEFORE CBHC install.

Nope. Why the hell do not users create a nand backup? Doesn't hurt anyone and save your ass. Should be the first before any further deeper system changes are made. Or with other words said...you're screwed!

Another goofball here...I BRICKED MY WII U with error code 160.0101
The only good news is that I have some backups:
otp, seeprom, slc, slccmpt

Will I be able to fix the brick?
