I've been wanting to get Homebrew on my New 3DS for a very long time, but sadly I can't do it alone because I know I'll mess up somewhere in the way and I just cannot afford to get another New 3DS.

It's quite easy to do yourself if you got an exploit game and are on FW 10.7
If not, you could send to to some people that can hack it for you.

I've done 3 3DSses meself and it's quite simple if you pay attention.

I'm probably not gonna be the first one to say it, but there is virtually no way to brick your 3DS with just homebrew, since you're just on userland permissions.
There's really no need to pay money for this. I'd help out (not for the payment, of course), but I'm not sure how I can help.

I think you want a CFW (so you can run 'backups')? If so, your 3DS must be below 11.0, otherwise you can't get a CFW. If you are on 11.0, you can only get HB Launcher access, which is not too bad (most HB is for both the Launcher and CFW), but 'backups' don't work.

If you are below 11.0: Follow the a9lh guide. Just be careful, follow each step exactly as described, don't continue if a step fails, but ask instead on here. You won't find many people here who are willing to do it for you (even if they get paid). This is because when you do it yourself, you know exactly what you did. If someone else does it for you, you will end up returning to them for more help.

If you are on 11.0: Get OoT + Powersaves or Freakyforms Deluxe, install the starterpack to your SD and patch the save/activate HB channel using hax. If you know someone who has already HB access (CFW not required here), you can use a secondary exploit as well.

My firmware is on 10.7 and I heard that you need a buy a game now in order to get homebrew? Also to give out the reason why I want homebrew it is because I heard that you can download games for free, and I also want to hack into some games.

I have a USA copy of freakyforms which will work for this purpose. PM me if you want to send over your 3ds and get hax installed on it
