I mostly just want a better save feature. I'd like to be able to save like in OOT3D, without having to quit the game or seek out a save point.
I would argee with you if that wasnt such a big part of gameplay. Remember, the game basically repeats its self every (two hours in RL time right?) 3-days. The WHOLE game is based around the fact that you HAVE to work quickly and you pay a penalty each time you forget a step or have to have extra time (you lose your rupees and any ammo and keys). It seems only fair to also allow you to save in certian points to control your progress. Maybe as a feature after you beat the game or in a easy mode for people who are "casual"

From what I understand, the saving feature of the owl statues was something added for the US version. I'm not asking for the game to be easier, I just want the save feature to be in the start menu/touch screen, like in OOT.

Eh, I still kinda like the owls and to be fair Skyward also has it and its not THAT bad if they used it in a more checkpoint way like skyward then it would be good, but we still have a while to go anyway, Ninty hasnt even given news about a new zelda for 3DS and they said thier not starting MM development till its out.

Skyward Sword's save points were fine, 'cause there were enough of them. but you're right, we won't know if there are any changes for a while, anyway.

Remade like OoT, and Master Quest. That's it. I don't want any extra stuff added.
Well they added a couple of purple Sheikah stones for people who were too lazy to figure out how to beat certain things.
or for little kids... remember, we're getting old.. . there are kids playing this game for the first time :-p
